I'm wondering how you burned the edges of the taffeta without setting the whole flower on fire?

I cut all the circles out, and then lit a tea candle, and held the edges of the circle up to the candle as I rotated it, pretty quickly (so 20 seconds or so for each circle). I definitely lit a few on fire and was glad I had water handy!

I'm confused by this....it looks "unfinished" to me....

Thanks for the constructive criticism! Smiley I was very much going for a deconstructed, unfinished look, so I'm happy with how it turned out. Smiley
