I broke the eye piece on my glasses.  So I made new ones with wire and ribbon.  They feel fine.  It might look bad, but I can't afford new ones yet. oh well.

they look comfy and soft! i should make cushions for my glasses, i have to wear contacts to work cos the earphones crush my ears into my glasses. But these look like they would be flexible and comfy. Nice one!  Cool

good fix, but you should try out zennioptical.com for cheap glasses, I am not affiliated with them in any way, but I always buy my glasses from them, they are ridiculously cheap

I am currently in a similar situation with the whole "no money for new glasses" thing. Thank you very much edelC for that website!! It's really a budget saver at this time!!

Thanks EdelC for that website. Thanks everybody for the comments.  This was my first post on a completed project. Smiley

that website is brilliant! I live in ireland and wear thin rimless glasses, they cost in the region of $300 here I got them delivered from that site for $30 !!! serious saving..

for contact lenses...if you wear them.. daysoftlenses.com so so so much cheaper than the rest with unbelievably good customer service.
