I have a bit of a soft spot for Tom Baker's portrayal of Doctor Who.. and as such have always longed for his scarf - or at least a replica of one. I sat down a while back determined to make that a reality; I used the Season 12 pattern found here: http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/ and then modified it. Of course, it's twice the size of me.. but that's what makes it so great!

And what homage to Tom Baker is complete without Jelly Babies?!? None, I tell you.

Cherry

Lime - you get two doses of him because he happens to be my favorite

Orange

Lemon

And.. a group shot!

Yay! Jelly Babies!

I too am totally upset that they are taking the servers down to fix things. Why can't they just let things stay broken? I don't care if I can't move due to lag or if quests are bugged. If I leave my room my mom may make me get a job.

Great scarf! I absolutely love the jelly babies!

Any chance of sharing the pattern? I think my nieces (and me too) would love a jelly baby or two!

This is a work of fiction.  All the characters in it, human and otherwise, are imaginary, excepting only certain of the fairy folk, whom it might be unwise to offend by casting doubts on their existence.  Or lack thereof.~Neil Gaiman

Love it! I'm a crocheter through and through, but I *may* actually try to knit the season 12 scarf for my boyfriend who is completely obsessed with the series. It's only a garter stitch, so I *might* be able to do it. Chances are though, I'll get to the third or fourth row, frog it, and crochet it instead! Ha! Which season did you make?

I totally went with Season 12 as well! I liked it better than the others - it seemed like the colors were brighter and I loved loved loved all the purple.

And I give you alot of credit for even contemplating knitting it - using two needles gives me a headache. lol
