Hello everyone! I'm a beginner knitter and this is my first time posting in the knitting section. You can usually find me in the crochet boards. I just started knitting about 3 months ago after about 2 years of attempting and failing.
Since I started knitting, my favorite pattern to make has been the Kitty hat found here on craftster. I've made a grand total of 4 of these hats in adult, child, and infant sizes, but i only have pictures of 3 of these.

First I'd like to start off with the cutest little kitty ever, craftster babiestarlite13's 2 month old baby girl Kiersten wearing my first ever infant sized hat

Now here's the first kitty hat I ever made which I made for myself Smiley

Then I made one for another of my craftster friends dannispring240 but her little sister is modelling it here

I actually made a smaller kitty hat specifically for the little sis pictured above but I haven't received a picture of that one yet.

Here are my edits to the original pattern to make the smaller sizes

To Make the Infant Sized kitty hat...

Use size 10 needles instead of 10.5
Cast on 24
5 rows of 2x2 ribbing
Stockinette stitch for about 5 inches
end with 5 rows of 2x2 ribbing

To Make the Child Sized kitty hat...

Cast on 26
5 rows of 2x2 ribbing
stockinette stitch for about 9 inches
end with 5 rows of 2x2 ribbing

Cute! At first glance I liked this because it looks like whoever's wearing it has little devil horns underneath, but kitty ears are just as good (and a little less scary)!   Smiley
