a friend of mine asked if I'd be willing to make her daughter a little drawstring bag to go with her bridesmaid outfit, "I'd pay of course"... woohoo! this is the first thing I have sewn for money and
I am so proud of it I signed it!





it's a light pink, but my camera doesn't like the shinyness of the satin.

here, without the flash


it's lined!


and beaded!


and those wiggly lines are satinised upholstery thread, it's machine embroidery on an unsophisticated, 1980s sewing machine and I'm incredibly proud of how it turned out.

Yep some machines are oldies but goodies aren't they? I have a Singer sewing machine bought in 1985 that is still going strong!!!!

The bag is gorgeous!!! Perfect for the occasion - you deserve to be proud!
