I think I am going to have to start doing some research for this swap.  Local coffee and tea shops look out, here I come!!! Hopefully my BF doesnt get too mad at me for spending a bunch of money trying out different teas & Coffees each morning.  HeeHee.  We have a lovely all organic local coffe shop like 2 miles from my house so I feel like I should go and support them more.  There is also an awesome tea shop in a not so distant town, they have a ton of different teas to choose from and they have free tea tastings.  I think I will be going there before this swap is over!!

I am fine with either ground or whole bean coffee.  I typically buy ground coffee but I am the only coffee drinker in the house and I have a cool new coffee maker that has 2 tumblers that it brews into so I dont have to waste a whole pot for one cup anymore.  This means I can start having some more expensive coffee and not worrying about it getting wasted!

This is the first swap where I've agreed to ship overseas, because I would love to get some foreign tea. Also tea is light!

I'm gonna let the owner of the tea shop downstairs know what I'm doing and see if she can put together a special package based on whatever my partner likes!

That's a great idea. Someone I know has a health food shop and he puts together teas samplers.

This swap sounds really fun! I am so excited because for my wedding I recently got a coffee grinder, an espresso machine, AND a Hamilton Beach "Brewstation."  (No glass pot needed.) Southern Stitcher, do you enjoy Community Coffee? I'm from Louisiana too.

I was thinking about getting some free trade coffee and chocolate, but maybe my partner will want tea. I go both ways. I have a couple ideas for smalls, but we'll see.

She's got a pretty small shop but a loyal group of customers from what I can tell. I just discovered it last year and it's amazing! She did one with the little jar sets you can get from ikea but it was about 30 bucks. It had a LOT of tea in it! I'll see if she can do a smaller one for me though. She's got a blend called Angel Falls Mist that has strawberries, lemon and I think maybe orange? It's to die for. And the jasmine is my favorite there, but I get it cold w/ sweetener most of the time.
