I always loved this book when I was little, I'm excited for the movie coming out later this year.

This is Max in his wolf suit. He's missing claws, but i might make those out of felt in the future.

I made a nose for him but i lost it when i was assembling him, so i decided to keep it off and just make him fit more into the amigurumi style.

the only thing that comes off is the hood, and it only comes down, it's not completely removable.

Where the Wild Things Are and Max copyright of Maurice Sendak

~Are you good at painting?  I would love some hand painted paintings of Pugs.  PM me and lets talk about a swap!  Smiley

I loved that book as a child, and now my son loves that book. Did you happen to write the pattern down. I would love to make one.

What a great job you did on Max!
It's also one of my favourite books....I'm so worried that they are going to mess up that movie.

I just took another look at him and realized that you did an amazing job on his hair, is that crocheted on after his head is finished.
Looks really nice!
