chanemza - wow!  congrats!  what a sweetie.  i always say that a partner who supports your crafting bug is a keeper!  : )

I misjudged the amount of one of my supplies for the large...I ordered two nights ago and its already on its way.  the company sent it priority so it should be here in plenty of time for me to finish up the item...the hard part is already done so i feel pretty confident that it'll go quickly.  i am really excited and hopes my partner likes it.  I've never made one before but i think i did a damn good job...if i say so myself.

Technically, I have three machines here, but one is dead in the water so I don't think it counts.  Of the two that work, I have one that only does a straight stitch and one that does everything but my laundry (I wish).  I have some things in storage about and hour and a half away that I can't get to right now, but in there I have another three, including an Athena 2000 that doesn't work (first electronic Singer machine - it did a ton of decorative stitches), an old 60's era Kenmore that is my little workhorse, and a 40's era New Home that's just gorgeous.

Sealer... hmmm...  My curiosity is piqued!

I have a few tricks up my sleeve.  Wish I could embroider something with my new machine, but I don't have the supplies needed.  I have plenty of cool decorative stitches I can use though!  I have a plan, muahahha!

I cna't believe you have THAT many machines!
I have mine -a brother and my dad has an old berlina(whihc HATES me, refuses to work, hence I bought my own machine!)

Ok, I admit it.  I have an addiction.  Ack!

Honestly, I had my 60's Kenmore of my gr-grandma's and that was the one I loved.  But a lady was throwing out the 40's New Home, and I couldn't just let it be neglected and abandoned.  So it was really a rescue.  The athena 2000 was given to me, but I later found out it was because it didn't work and would cost quite a lot to fix - IF I could find a dealer who could still get parts for it (mid-70's machine).

So I have two non-working, one barely working, one old gorgeous pretty one just for her looks, and one old workhorse that does just about anything I ask it to.  And my new shiny pretty Janome embroidery machine

I know.  I need help.

I am considering donating the two non-working and the one barely working to a charity that fixes and takes to people in need.

I keep coming up with ideas, hehe, which happens ALL the time with my swaps! My goal is to stop the insanity, LOL, and send by Friday.

As for sewing machines, I have a 1960's Singer that weights like a gazillion pounds, is avocado green, and doesn't want to work at all.  It will cost more to have it fixed.  But, one day, when I have a house and more space, It's totally going on display somehow.  I cannot bear to part with it, and it was FREE!

i finished the large...it turned out pretty good.  i hope my partner likes it.  i'm pretty much done but i am going to redo one of the smalls since i think it could be better and i have until monday to ship.
