I love my partner & have so many ideas bouncing around in my brain! I may need to do some self editing to be able to afford to ship the package. hehe.

PS:  What do Aussies have that we don't here in the States?  We'rehaving this discussion, and I'm drawing a blank.  I know what I'm sending her though!   Grin Grin Grin

As for Aussies & Yanks, there are some big food stuffs there that we don't have & vice versa. One product that Aussies have that we don't is definitely Vegemite. It is an incredibly acquired taste & not all Aussies even like the junk. Their Pringles flavors were even different. There was a Paprika flavor that was amazing when I was over there, but I suspect they don't make that one anymore. There are the animals specific to the area (koala, wallaby, kangaroo, taz devil, kookaburra, etc), plus about a gazillion species of snake. Aboriginal tribes there differ quite a bit from our aboriginal peoples & had some distinct weapons and musical instruments (like the boomerang and the didge). Hope this helps get the ideas for differences flowing Smiley I spent two summers in AUS & NZ when I was a teen and loved every minute![/color]

Not sure I'd like vegemite, lol!  I do like the aboriginal instrument idea, or maybe some really fun candies or flavors that was distinctly Australian.

The things she said they don't have surprised me a little, so she'll definitely get to try them Smiley

Tim Tams!  Soooo good.  They're chocolate dipped sandwich cookies with a light chocolate filling, and you can do this thing called a Tim Tam Slam-- you bite off opposite corners and dip one corner in a cup of coffee, or hot chocolate, and use the cookie like a straw, and when your fingers start to mush in toward the middle, you pop the whole thing in your mouth.  It's so good.

I don't think my instructions about how it works are that great, though.

I went to Australia-- oh, is it three years ago now?  Wow, time flies!  It was a whirlwind trip visiting Brisbane, Cairns, Uluru, Sydney, and Melbourne in a meager 15 days.  On a wine tasting excursion, the driver told us all about the Tim Tam Slam.  And of course we had to try it, and loved it so much we brought back loads of Tim Tams.   Grin

Luckily, I have most of mine finished. I had a personal issue pop up that is going to keep me occupied and stressed.

I had one idea that was going to be started tonight with bits of wood and dried flowers, but unfortunately those are things which might not make it through customs in Australia...  Given that bit of news another lightbulb went off in my head, and I'll be starting the resulting project idea tomorrow Cheesy

I started mine today and it's going to take awhile, a long while, but the result should be worth it.  Smiley
