This isn't exactly clothes but I figured here was better than misc. so here we go...

I've got lots of cool old tshirts hanging around that I don't wear anymore either because they don't fit, aren't my style anymore, or have a spot on them. Can't throw them out, gotta do something with them right? so voila, funky doodle bib for my messy baby! Super easy to do too, give it a try!

ps, they stretch to fit over the head just like a t-shirt but the ribbing neckband fits well enough to keep food from falling down their front. I think these would make great gifts. I might even make some to sell! Feel free to use the idea for your own purposes whatever they may be. Mamas everywhere know there can never be enough food-catching devices to go around so feel free to spread the bib-love far and wide. Just let us all see what you make!

That is just too cute, and thrifty too!  Cheesy  I'll have to remember that for future baby showers...well done!

Thanks so much!  We have a couple similar to these that a friend of my mom's made from hand towels, and I've been really interested in knowing how to make them.

thanks guys! i have seen the ones made out of small hand towels and thought there were a good idea, instant clean up right? ha ha. i am a big recycler/reuser though and wanted to use up some of my old t-shirt stash. old shirts make great everything, i've put together panties that rock and am working on a skirt too. recycling rules!

Great idea, and the fact that tshirts are so soft is a bonus to also wipe up faces. Smiley
