after making a bonnet and bloomers last night, with babies asleep in their beds, i couldn't stop sewing! i used fabric from a dress that i had tried, rather unsuccessfully, to make for myself to sew a peasant top from the miss madeline pattern. i used contrasting fabric for the sleeves and added a patch pocket to the bottom of the shirt. in order to make it into a top, i just shortened the pattern. it's a bit loose because it's the 6 month size and i forgot to shorten the elastic waistband this time...
