Beautiful!  Did you use reclaimed hardware from the old collar and leash?

I've been wanting to try this, too. Was it really that easy?

actually, I used the Parachute clip from an old Backpack, I had a d-ring left from some purse making and just used a swivel hook I found at a garagesale.
It is really easy to do, I used webbing (3/4 inch wide) and a ribbon I got at Hobby lobby (5/8 inch wide) sewed it on the webbing before I sewed everything together.

I love your fabric!! I made my puppy a leash and collar and they are super simple, although I had to be all tricky and bias bind the edges which drove me nutso.
