I made a dog bed for our dog, Bejeepers.
I didn't use a pattern, but I made the bottom cushion out of plain canvas and high density foam and then attached the empty doughnut ring to the cushion (leaving a hole to put the batting in). I filled the doughnut with quilt batting and sewed the hole shut. I made the next cushion out of the printed material and leftover high density foam and batting. I made the middle cushion removable so I could wash it.

Enjoy, I know my dog does!

The doughnut half and the cushion half.

The bed put together.

A close up of the print on the fabric.

I made pillow covers with my leftover fabric!

And finally...
Bejeepers using the bed!

You did a good job.  I bought one for my dog and he refused t sleep in it.  He drug it all over the house.  I''ve tired in the past to make a small one for a friend's tea cup poodle but it never turned out right.  Yours looks good and the dog is beautiful.
