mimiw -- those shirts are so pretty!  I love the little deer, and the tree is just gorgeous.  (And your little girl is adorable, musiclady!)
SpencerTwins -- your twins are adorable, too... they look like they are full of energy and joy! Cheesy  And the shirts you made... so cute.  I love the tie-dyed Suess ones!
McJulio -- how did you make the butterflies?  Is that an iron-on?  Very nice!  I also love the "collaborative effort"... but the pillowcase dress is my favorite.  I just love those on little ones!  Too bad all my girls are too big for those now. Sad  And what a cutie, canamharris!  She was quite the trooper trying on all those outfits!

SWAP UPDATE:

The butterflies are basically a reverse iron on stencil. I used my butterfly paper punches to make butterflies out of freezer paper, and ironed them on,

then painted over it with a white undercoat,

then painted over the whole shebang with layers of a rainbow,

and peeled the butterflies off,

Voila!

The white undercoat not only made the colors pop, but by some strange occurrence, provided a slight tiny white outline to the shape. I don't know if you can see it in the photos.

WOW!  I thought it was a large, store-bought iron-on!  You can see the white, and you're right -- it does make it pop even more.  Very, very cool.

Yes, I'm looking at my collection of paper punches with new eyes...

I used them in the usual way for one of the other shirts (freezer paper stencils were a new technique for me, and I LOVE it!), the flower one..

with a little pink shading added to the orange ones

and I don't know if you can see that I added another layer of the tiny daisies on top of it all:

Freezer paper stencilling is incredibly addictive.... I see that now  Roll Eyes

Oh, you are! You are!
I had heard of it before, of course, but never actually tried it until this swap! The maple leaf on canamharris' sweetie's sweat shirt showed such incredible detail, it wasn't even funny!

I was able to pick up my package from barbolot today! I am so stoked! I love them all, they're adorable!

The first two, a whale and a sailboat. (This was a great theme because both sides, mom and dad, come from a long line of sailors. And we own a small sailboat so we are quickly becoming a sailing family!)

And these two shirts with MATCHING PANTS! I love this fabric! I love love love this fabric.

A rubber duckie shirt with matching pants! My boy does love his bathtime. (And the ducks totally look like MY old rubber duckie. I need to get one for my son!)

Chick Magnet and Happy Camper, again adorable! He is a ladies man to be sure, mainly because he is such a happy camper.  Cheesy

And a turtle (that's his nickname since he was born, he has always pointed his upper lip, like a turtle.) and a giraffe, I love the "hair" on the giraffe's head.

And my very favorite! An Orion constellation shirt! (My son's middle name is Orion)

And one action shot. (Gabe was not in the mood for a fashion show today, as you can tell by the simultaneous thumb sucking and ear pulling.)

Thank you thank you thank you barbolot! I LOVE them!

I'll be posting more pictures on my blog later. (Hopefully better quality ones, the weather is not cooperating!)

EEEEEEEEEeee!  Arimethia, Gabriel is so precious!  Poor baby, he does look sleepy.  (The pants are good for day or night... my boys wear them whenever! LOL!)  And I'm so glad they fit him... and that you liked the shirts.  Thank you for swapping with me. Smiley
