my partner really spoiled me with adorable tiny little things! There are so many. I hope I haven't left any out.

We decided, to save on shipping costs (I am in Canada, she in Australia, hence why it takes so long for us to receive our packages...), to send a lot of tiny items, wrapped in a big ball of yarn. The yarn has the advantage of shielding the content of the package from bumps. We also decided to send a few things particular to our countries.

So, here is the loot:

vintage buttons and handmade soap from a local company

felted wool cat toy (my bigger cat loves it. The other one is afraid of it, due to its size Wink ), a ring with a button, a necklace with a spider encased in resin

books and vintage Australian postcards:

vintage buttons, a key chain of a local bird, a cup holder (this sure will be handy!):

some local foodstuff (including genuine vanilla! hmmm!):

the skein of yarn! It looks hand dyed and spun. Did you do it yourself? What is its composition?

thank you so much! Cheesy Hopefully, my package should reach you soon dear partner. It has been, what, 8 weeks already?  Roll Eyes

YAY!!!So glad you like Cheesy

I think i put little tags on each item but icase I didn't

the loose buttons are from my great granmothers stash (she sometimes gives or makes me things for my swaps Tongue)
the soap is from an organisation called oxfam, they specialise in fair trade items made by people in 3rd world countries
the necklace spider is a "Spiny leaf spider" , a good luck charm in china I believe( I just think She looks cool)
the bird is a lorrikeet, a type of parrot native to Australia
the vannilla is a tea twirl, hehe you use it like tea but stir the stick like a spoon into hot water for flavour( instead on dunking a teabg)
the Sri lankan tea is my Dave, it also reminds me of my best friend who lives in srialanka

the yarn is I think handspun, but not by me, just my gave Australian company lol( I wish I could spin yarn!) it's a merino( famous and gorgousAussie wool and acrylic mix, but oh so soft lol!

They have Oxfam in Australia?  I volunteer in an Oxfam shop in the UK.

That yarn looks yummy, and you can never have too many buttons (well, I can't Smiley)

i love the little rectangle one that kinda looks like a stripey bunny. i had a knitted version on my wists of it for ages and i finally have an item of it! yay!!
