wist is an online wish list of things that you would love to have.  if you go to www.wists.com you can sign up for your own and it puts an addition to your toolbar so when you see something you want online you can click the Add to wists button on your tool bar to add it to your wist.  hope that explained it.

Wow!  So many swappers.  This is the largest swap I've participated in so far.  I can't wait for partners and to find out what sort of goodie I'll be making.

I need to update my wists... and I need to remember the password to it XD. I think it's a great tool because you can "wist" any picture on the internet. If you see something neat in a swap gallery you can add it. It's a great inspiration for swap partners and even if you can't replicate a certain item you get an idea of their likes.

Welcome newbie swappers! It's really fun and addictive to swap Smiley I had a great partner during my first swap, I hope you'll be just as lucky.

So a wist is not so much a "I want this exact thing", more of a I like this and would like something like it?  Ah I think I understand them better now.

The nice thing about the wist (or an amazon universal wish list), is that you can write your own comment on each thing to specify what you like about it or if it is there because you want to make it yourself, or whatever.  So if you like something exactly the way it is, you can write that as well Smiley
And you can pretty much tag any picture from any website...craftster, etsy, blogs, etc...

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

My wist is almost like a moodboard, with colours/patterns/textures I love as well as actual objects.
