Not sure on the record... but the fill a purse swap that I am currently organizing has 53 participants.  Talk about a mega gallery coming up!!!

Candy---that doesn't really count, should just be able to throw little tidbits like that in as "filler"  lol...

RondaS-WELCOME!!! knew you couldn't resist!  BTW-for those not familiar with RondaS, she does a phenominal job!!  I was lucky enough to get some earrings from her from and they were awesome!!!

This is still far away from the Make a Friend swap last year. 100+ participants so they needed 5 co-organizators to keep everything running smoothly.

OMG, Persephone Hazard, your little tagline is an Amanda Palmer quote! That song is phenomenal, and it kind of makes me cry. (I saw her in Dublin in February, and even though it was just a short ukulele set, I pretty much fell in love even more than I already was. She's fantastic.) [Edit: Checked your profile, and seriously omg you like Jeeves and Wooster as well! It's one of my favourite shows of all time. Cheesy ]

I can't wait to get partners! The gallery is going to be pretty epic. Cheesy

I have so many ideas swimming about in my head... Can't wait to see who my partner is.  Grin

And jloveg, are you another Aussie expat? I get my packages from home with Vegemite in them and the locals think I'm importing odd toothpaste.

schnerby I love your icon.  Lordi is the most amazing band I've come across in the last few years.

so this is my first swap.. (although it doesn't say on the list, like the others), and i just wanted to say that i'm very excited to participate! it's such an awesome idea, because people keep asking me "but what do you DO with what you make?! just hang on to it?!" while most things i make have been gifts, sometimes i make stuff for no purpose. so this gives me purpose. and i'm happy. :] YAY! *can't wait to get started*

btw -- can anybody explain "wists" to me? are you just supposed to add stuff you'd like to receive? (such as a purse similar to the one shown on a wist, or whatever).. i think i understand, but i just want to be sure.
