Does anyone have any suggestions for how to turn straight leg stretch jeans into mid calf capris? I really need to know how wide to make the cuff....I do not not the current trend in to wider cuff.
Please help! Thanks!

How wide to make the cuff is entirely up to you. Cut the jeans to the length you want them to be, plus hem allowance. If they are too wide, taper the jeans on BOTH the inner and outer seams until you get the cuff width you want. (Don't be tempted to only take in the inner leg seam. This will change the grain and the pants won't fall properly.) Easy!

Thanks much BT! Good instructions! Never would have thought of the grain! I heard the style in at least a 2.5" cuff now.
