Two of my favorite pieces from my pottery class, amusing as these are the first two I made:





The brown looks like stamped leather in person.  I love it!  The texture was created by Lynn over at http://potterytexturequeen.com/rubberstamps.html

Donna Dewberry I think?  The texture looks similar to texture plates I bought from her line.

Thank you!  The whole thing was brushed with iron oxide, let dry, and then I painted on one glaze (the greenish) and a second glaze around the edges that was essentially a clear coat.  The studio actually mixes their own glazes, so I have no clue what was actually in em.
