I am considering this a trial of this pattern. I had so many problems sewing it, not really a hard pattern just a miserable experience. I kept sewing parts of the dress to itself. I had to resew so many seams that I dubbed this a "play only" dress. My husband says it is "practice". At least it looks okay from afar, but if you get close...
No action shots, because my little one threw a Category 4 temper tantrum when I tried it on her. She was upset that the fabric was not SpongeBob.

The only picture file small enough to upload. (I need to figure out how to change the settings on the camera.)

Pockets I added after the first pictures.

I'm giggling at the "tantrum because it's not Spongebob" thing.  Been there, done that!   Wink  I think it's an adorable dress.  We're always hardest on ourselves when we sew.  Give it a few days and your little one may just love her new turtle dress!   Smiley
By the way, where did you get that great turtle fabric??

Even though you said you had problems, the end result looks fantastic!

My mother used to make all my clothes for me when I was a child and I have everything kept in a box now.

I think it's lovely that you're doing this and the fabric is super cute!

I love it. I just wrote it done on my pattern wishlist.

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

I ordered it online. It is Robert Kaufman's Creatures and Critters fabric. I loved it. She will later.  Smiley
