If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hoper, a prayer, a magic bean buyer. . .
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some fax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!

That's awesome! I would have been scared away pretty quickly by the complexity, though I used to do stencils all the time. Just out of curiosity, what did you use?

Oh, ha forgot, I just found this picture online, I cannot remember for the life of me where,
and I couldn't get the legs to print out the same size as the top half so I just said screw it and left the legs out. I enlarged it all and went to town, editing as I went. The image is too large to download here...anyone know how to get around that, so I can post it?
As for a tutorial it's pretty basic, I changed the size a little bit and printed it, taped it down to some freezer paper and cut all the black areas out, it took two sheets of freezer paper for the the size, I hate doing islands so instead of cutting out shapes I left just enough for the little spaces to stay attached without looking silly. Ironed the freezer paper onto a shirt I had kicking around, then sponge painted over it with acrylic with fabric medium mixed in and because it's white I only had to do one coat of paint. After I let dry I peeled off the stencil, then ironed it inside out and then right side out to set it. I dont know if you have to do that but I like to make sure it doesn't wash out. I hope that helps, I'm not great at tut's so if you have any other questions let me know!  Grin
Thanks for all the great feed back everyone!

I don't remember how to find it either! I just had it saved on my computer from years ago haha! I'm not sure where you could post a huge image, but maybe someone else will. It sounds simple enough(except for the cutting of course!) thanks so much for explaining it to me. I'll give it a shot soon and share my results! Thanks again =D

Shocked Oh Wow - this is absolutely fantastic!!

really, really good job!

The stencil for this must have been a nightmare.  I'm curious how many pieces was the complete stencil and did you have a lot of "floaters"?

the stencil was 2 sheets of freezer paper and I didn't have any floaters what so ever....because I hate them and always screw them up so I cut the whole thing so I didn't completely detach them, so alot of editing when I was cutting it.
