Very cute! And great tutorial!
Now you need to make one of the Purskets purse organizers like

and

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=3988

that would match the fabric!  sweet!

I think those are adorable and very sellable!!

I personally would pay $25 but I'm cheap so don't go by me! I bet some people would pay closer to $50. I think these are good for those people, like me, who like those blouses with the ribbon that runs around the middle but would never actually wear them. This would be a way to be trendy without being self conscience about it. KWIM?

I had to reply RosesArePurple.  The one and only time I wore one like that someone asked if I was expecting and when I was due.  Needless to say I wasn't and the person shut up real quick and walked away.  LOL

i'm not sure i really want to venture into eyelets.. i'm sure they're simple. but i'm on a limited budget (hence me attempting to make my own tote instead of buying one of your *incredibly* awesome ones) is there another simple way to attach the straps? I could just sew them in right? I know this would leave seams, but i think I could handle it (no pun intended Wink)

They're really not all expensive...$10 for the tool kit, I think, but then the 10-pack is only $5, and that's enough for 2 bags. You can always just sew the straps in, too. It won't leave a seam! If you look on my site, the blue one with flowers has straps sewn in. Just follow the instructions in the Jordy tutorial, "sandwiching" the straps between the lining and the bag before you sew it together.  Cheesy Ta-da, bag with straps!
