Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

Thanks for posting the tutorial. I am going to try to do them for each of my kids, and maybe the dogs. I will post pictures if I'm successful.

oh thank you thank you thank you for tutorial!

This is so beautiful and easy enough for me to do it, I tried my first today and I didnt have the liquid fluid but I found rubber cement and that worked fine I guess. I never painted with water colors before so it was a bit of a struggle at first, but I like it for my frist try.

Really? Rubber cement? It peeled off ok? I mean, it looks like it did... Masking fluid is really expensive, if I can do this with something else I'd be SO happy!

it wouldn't peel off at all, I had to use eraser on the whole thing, but it was super easy to take off that way. I was worried it would damage the paint if I scrubbed too hard but it didnt. I just used one of those cheap pencil eraser you can buy at dollar store, worked awesome!

Wow, thanks so much for the info. I'll have to try it. I didn't know eraser could remove rubber cement either, good to know!

I loved this tutorial.  Ive never used watercolors or masking fluid but felt inspired to give it a try for the next swap I was in.  It was a star wars swap.

So I did three prints of different characters. Vader, Princess Amidala, and Ahsoka. I love them and plan on making many more thanks so much for sharing.

chughes25, those came out amazing! I love how you thought outside the box and used the tutorial for something besides a portrait of a friend or family member. You just gave me a great gift idea!
