Okay. Decemberists stencil watercolor action might happen. Also, I've seen these.. like.. rubber brushes? I've been wanting to grab one and see how it goes with the masking fluid.

That is so great! I always thought it was done with water color pencils...its a lot easier looking than I thought it would be.

Good job on the tute, its very clear and I can't wait to try this!

Oh, and do you know of a technique to do this on fabric? Maybe just a stencil with freezer paper and dye? Have you tried anything like that? I think it would look awesome on a tee or on a tote.

this.... is.... GENIUS!!!  My friend just asked me to make her something for her new apartment and I was going to try my hand at making a big ol' painting of her and her boyfriend/soon-to-be new roommate.  Something they could share.  I was going to do the photoshop contrasting stuff and then blow it up and make a plain black and white (or any other color background) painting of them.  Very.... Andy Warhol-ish.  But your idea is sooooo SOOOO much better.  And easier for me.  And it will work out perfect for what I want to do!!   THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THE TUTE!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
