I suppose this is the best place for these.  I made them for my nephews for Christmas.  Sorry, no action shots--it was too warm Christmas Day for them to be willing to wear them!  Silly Louisiana.






They both have yellow hoods.  They're made out of three store-bought towels (one sacrificed for the hood), flannel, and a fat quarter for the appliques, which was my first attempt at applique!  That R was hard!  It's just satin stitched around, though, so it was pretty easy.  Oh, and the O isn't wobbly like that, that's the towel!

OK, so I'll be the first to guess their names... Oliver and Reginald?  Probably not?  Oh well.  Smiley

These are super cute.  I think the letters look great, and I bet they're excited to have their own personalized towels.  A good incentive for bath time!  Cheesy

*laughs*  I'm so telling my SIL that the next one must be named Oliver.  Or Olivia.  Her two are Owen and Robert.  Two little monkeys.

i love these! what a great idea!  my 2year old LOVES the hooded towels, but i can't bring myself to pay full price for them!  looks like its time to cut up some of our older ones and give this a shot!  very cute.   Grin
