vegbee, these are cute! (plus, the torque makes the outfit. seriously)

Is the top photo the corset dress you were thinking about when you did monkey's skull peasant top? (okay, this will sound stalker-ish, but....the peasant top you posted using pics of monkey bowling). You'd mentioned (again, stalker-ish) trying to design a corset....

please don't worry, I just have a pretty good memory (and I loved that top!  Cheesy).

haha!  No, actually the skirt part of the corset dress was cut out from the skirt I was half-way done making for the skullnroses top.  I was going to make a corset/sash kinda thing for her to wear with the peasant top with just a regular gathered skirt in the same fabric but it ended up being one of those things that got pushed aside for lack of enthusiasm.  I kinda like this better anyway, since its all one piece and I don't have to try to find 3 separate pieces (nevermind have them all washed at the same time) and put them all at the same time.  3yr olds are not very cooperative, and mommy's of 3yr olds are not very organized.

Great dresses....and as always, your model has the most priceless expressions on her face.  I always enjoy your projects because of your little actress.   Grin  Happy warmer weather.
