Adorable!!!  Oh and my DD (11) says your DD looks like amermaid with that long blond hair!!  I wish I knew how to do the shirring, it is sooo comfy on.  And you're right, that's a lot of ruffling.  Oh, and care bears are the shiznit!!!

I actually just cut her hair this past month.  It was SO HARD to do, but she needed it cut.  No scissors had touched it, and at almost 4 her ends were so snarly.  I miss it, but it is much easier to comb through now!

Oh, and shirring is not that hard!  Give it a try!

I usually shop at a fabric warehouse here in town, so it isn't a major big box crafting place that I buy my fabric at.  They do carry the major brands, but I think it is mostly overstock, past seasons and samples.  Hopefully you can find something similar at a regular store, since they seem to be popular.  Sorry I couldn't help!

this is awesome!  my daughter just saw it and says "mom, why don't you make me one like that?"  i HAVE to learn to do the ruffling!  my girl adores twirly skirts... but i haven't learned many techniques yet.  Smiley
