I've been out for a while looking for a pattern for a crochet vest. The ones I've found are the wrong style and none of them appealed to me. I'm a pretty new at crocheting, so making my own pattern isn't really going to happen..

What I'm looking for is a short (waist, or just below the waist) vest. I don't want it to be solid crochet, rather lacy and doily-like. Or it can be solid with lacy details.

I drew a picture of the shape I'm looking for.

Do you know any patterns out there? Online or books; I'm OK with both. I just neeeeed this vest!!  Wink I appreciate all help..

This one is free:  http://web.archive.org/web/20020203141753/www.cei.net/~vchisam/groovy/7503.html

I hope that helps!  They don't fit exactly what you're looking for; I'll keep looking!

Thanks so much for looking! I'm thinking maybe I can combine them and make it shorter.. The last one looks pretty promising.

Thanks!
