Addicted to Soap
« on: April 14, 2009 04:26:54 AM »

I finally got the chance to make soapsicle (a soap popsicle for those who don't know). I scented it watermelon, and layered it red, and green to look like a watermelon. I think next time I will make it with an opaque base making it look less transparent. Hope you all like it.

These are so cool! I love how the red and green blend a little where they meet, and I think the transparency makes them look more like popsicles than if they were opaque.

These are so cool! Do you just use a regular popsicle mold? I tried that once and had to scrape the soap out with a knife...  Undecided

Yes I made these in a regular Popsicle mold, and they came out easy. I have a video on my blog that shows you how easy it is to make these Popsicle soaps. I found this video on you tube.com and they have other videos as well to show you how to make other tings as well. Good luck. Let me know if it works out better for you.

I had a boy at my last bazaar who was determined to eat one. He was not convinced that it was soap. He mom finally gave up and brought it for him and let him lick it, lol. We all laughed when we saw the look on his face when he realized it really was soap.
