Ok, so years and years ago I inherited this lovely "coupon holder" from my MIL,
I have been using it for that for the last 10 years, and I decided, it was time to make it over into something else, Since I got a new Coupon holder to hold my coupons.
Here I have taken the sides apart:

here it is completely taken apart, and I used the pieces to make a pattern for later use when I want to make another one. I left the lining with Zipper and insert intact, because I was too lazy to make a new one Smiley


Now, I decided I wanted something cute from my stash and remembered I had some Betty Boop Biker Fabric
here shown with the rest of the pieces I reused:


After re-sewing it and finishing off the raw edges on the inside here is what I came up with:


Just big enough to fit my wallet and phone

and last but not least the zipper pull:


So, what you think?

Thanks! The fabric was purchased at Hancock Fabrics about 1 year agao from the Sale Bin. They might still have it available.

It is adorable!  Although, I must ask, does it look to anyone else the Betty's dog is looking up Betty's skirt in the 4th pic??   Grin  LOL
