I have an old Egyptian themed Ouija. I wonder if the husband would care if I cut it up.  Cheesy

I still hesitate when I begin to tear up an old book. This board was pretty much band new so there were no hard feelings about destroying it  Tongue

He told me I could do it, but it would definitely be harder to work with that one than a new board. Its really hard for me to chop up old books, too.

I was in an antique shop recently and there were so many lovely bits of papery things. I don't think I could bring myself to chop up perfectly good old things so I asked the lady who ran the shop what she did with thing that were unsellable. She said that they just pitched them in the bin! When I think of all the old stained letters and torn tags that she must have thrown out it makes me cringe! Crackers, I can't even count the hours that I've spent making things look old and dirty HA!  Cheesy I've asked her to save them up for me instead. I'll be pleased as punch if she does.

Heck, I'd even offer to buy them from her if she kept them all aside!

I'm actually using real book pages on a project I'm working on right now. That's rare for me.

I -hate- that I can never be this creative.  So awesome!  What a great re-use of a Ouija board.
