So I've pretty much used Burda 8517 to death...This pattern is so cute! The tops actually call for a drawstring under the bust, but I find that sort of thing just kinda makes me look fat (which I am definitely not). Onto the goods:
View A, gross polyester remnant but very cute regardless

View A again, awesome rayon my mom bought me when she went on vacation. (If you live in Vancouver...you have DRESSEW! I'm so jealous!) haha terrible photo

View C, the reason I bought the pattern. I've had this skulls and roses print for a while and knew I wanted it to be a dress, I was just waiting for the right pattern to come along. It looks kind of Christmas-y, I think. Especially with the red sash. I wore it to a holiday party Cheesy

This is a really easy pattern, it's made for beginners but would also be fun for a more experienced sewer just looking for something fast and cute. Thanks for looking!

Ok, I'll bite.  What's with the respirator?

Cute tops, I like the first one best.

Great pattern! I especially love the first shirt. I think it is awesome that you used the dress for holiday parties.

Cute Clothes!

Thanks peeps.

Ok, I'll bite.  What's with the respirator?

Nothing. It just happened to be around at the time.

Is your tattoo from the story that's tattooed on people?

No...I don't know anything about that.
