I have finally gotten time to craft again since my son was born.  I always meant to do this stitch from spritestitch.com but never got around to it while pregnant.

It took 3 weeks or so, on a good day I could do one man, if my son was being needy it could take 2-5 days.  I am going to frame it and frame the cartidges to hang in his room.  This is the first real attempt at x stitch, I made a tiny one before but I don't count that.

The next is my first attempt at embroidery.  I found a free pattern (sorry can't remember the site and I forgot to bookmark it.)  Anyone seen it?  I didn't do the whole thing, I just wanted to see if I could do it.  I messed up a good bit, my stitches aren't always the same length and the hands and feet are a little wonky, but my kid doesn't know that!

thanks for looking at my first attempts!

cool thanks for that, I wanted to give credit where credit was due!

And thanks for the compliments.... I really want to get more into embroidery.  Once I learn some more stitches I would like to do one of The Giving Tree.
