Ok, I am so new to sewing it isn't funny.  I am not even sure this is where i should put this.  I have finally started using my sewing machine.  i have attempted a few things and this is the only thing that has really come out well so far.  I am usually more of a handy person (cross stitch, beading)

The first one is made from some leftover fabric from a tie onesie applique attempt.

The second was more repurposed.  The backing was made from an old receiving flannel blanket.  The front layer was used from an old turtle neck that shrunk and no longer fit, and was too funny looking to donate.

I added a tutorial on my site, it is too complicated to reload all of the pics here.  So far he has been drooling all over them and they work great.  Maybe someone can make these for a baby shower, they are cute!

Very cute. It would go great with a whole cowboy themed thing.

I love the bandanna!  Too cute.  You also have the perfect little model!  That first picture is definitely a keeper.   Smiley

I am past the drool stage, but I have to post. These pics are too funny. He is just so cute in the top one he looks like a little bandito! You did a good job!

He is too cute!  I love the idea of a bandana instead of a bib.  I love country and western stuff.  I wish I had seen this when my girls were little.  I'll be making some for all the other little babies I know though.  I have a new nephew coming in August, so I'll definitely make him some.  Thanks for the tutorial.

Your son is just the cutest little thing ever! I love your idea and will have to keep this in mind for future gifts; mine are too grown-up for bibs, according to them. And thanks for the tute link!
