I posted a few days ago asking how to do these simple panels, I wanted to do a few things for a raffle for the relay for life (my mom owns a business and is raffling things off to raise money) Well one of the Joann's around here is moving to a new building they have everything cheap I seen these panels and bought a couple (one for mom and one for my new little man)!
Long story short here it is! Now I just have another quilt to piece and put together for her and I need to finish quilting my little mans quilt so I can start on the panel and some clothes!!!!! Thank goodness school is almost over!
I decided to just outline everything!
The backing I also got at Joann's really cheap! It is a sage green chenille! It matches way better than it looks, both my camera and my photography skills SUCK!
Finally Finished!

Thanks for looking!!!

It's really nice of you to do that. It's an adorable quilt for any little man, I especially love that its back in chenille.

It's so cute!  Smiley I am starting to learn how to quilt, so maybe you could answer a couple of beginner's questions? Do you outline through all layers (by the way, what layers are there?), so that the outlines are also visible on the back (can't see from the picture) or otherwise how do you do it? And then you use a fabric strip (bias binding?) around the edges to make the narrow frame and hide the raw edges?

Just trying to figure out the basics of quilting. Any help is appreciated.  Cheesy
