I would love to try this idea but have a few questions. 1 can you use a plastic bottle instead of a glass bottlec. 2 do you have to use boiling hot water. 3 Could you put something in with the glitter or instead of the glitter.

omg, i just made one of these for my 2 year old daughter! she found my craft stuff, and wanted to play w/glitter, and i had and empty (plastic) soda bottle sitting around, and voila! and now i'm so excited that someone else has done the same thing b/c my husband and friends think i'm nuts for doing it! hurray validation! oh, and she loves it, btw. i sealed up the top w/hot glue, then glued some pretty purple fabric w/pink flowers over the cap. she calls it her "pretty" lol. Cheesy
