Color representation isn't the best...the waist band and bow are actually hot pink.

Thanks! And nope, no pattern used. I made it up as I went along, but my initial try had to be frogged because it was ridiculously, laughably tiny.  Tongue

These would be great for kayaking or any other water sports, because wool is warm even when wet, whereas cotton becomes extremely cold. Cheesy

Thank you! This was just my experimental first try so I figured I'd bust some of my stash while I was at it...they're made of some leftover Vanna's Choice (from Lionbrand) in hot pink and yellow.  Grin

DH would FLIP if he saw me knitting a pair of these. Once I'm more comfortable with knitting more complexed things, I might give this a try.
Man my "To Knit" list and patterns is getting bigger. I better get on this quickly.

I agree the bow and placement is prefect!  Tongue

Those look like they fit wonderfully, and they are cute too.

I love how you posted the pictures, is there any special technique you used to edit the photos?

Thank you!

I just opened up Microsoft Paint and used the little polygon tool to trace over the areas of my body. Once you close up the shape it automatically fills it in with whatever "secondary color" you have selected (the default is white). People really underestimate the uses of Paint, it's really useful and fun!

Well, it looks to me as though you need to write a pattern and put it out there. I'm a BBW but, I wear thigh-high undies because of being so short-waisted. If I had something to go on, I'd convert it to larger sizes for you. I just don't have time to sit and write a pattern. Sorry, I have too much going on. But, as i'm getting older and colder (in the winter time), this might be just the trick for those 'cold bed' episodes.   Shocked

Not at all! They're actually really soft and comfy! I was thinking about sewing a lining in just to make 'em more wear-friendly but even without it they aren't uncomfortable. I think it really depends on the yarn you make them out of though.

And, I agree, the usage of Paint to make the pictures more modest is excellent!

Great work!

Now that you have won that 2009 award, don't you think we deserve a pattern?

(Enough of this "no pressure" tactic - it hasn't worked. Now's the time to guilt the knitter into taking a few minutes to count rows and stitches. Fingers crossed that pressuring will work to our advantage.)
