I've seen a million Swiffer covers on here and always thought I should make one. Well, we ran out of pads and didn't have the cash on hand for more. So I busted my stash of cheap acrylic yarn and made myself one in about 4 hours, cranky two year old included. I wanted you guys to see the color. I did seed stitch for extra scrubbiness. Oh, and excuse the loose end. I hadn't gotten it woven in yet.

Thanks, guys!

We tried it out today and it rocked! We used it wet with Clorox Greenworks mop water and spray for the tough areas. Much safer for us since it's 100% biodegradable and disappears completely within minutes of drying AND if the baby or dog walk on it while it's wet it won't make them sick. I've already been recruited by my mother to make three for her!  Grin

can't see your pics, but I get the idea -- I hadn't thought of that before and I'm always looking for something to crochet while watching TV - maybe a few of these.
