Awwww  thanks guys!!!  I worked long and hard on it (Grindhousehussy can atone to that)

The eyelets on the back were a bit of a pain because the stretchy fabric caused them to fall out.  So I ended up handsewing around each one in red thread to make them stay.

I'm glad you liked the shirt!  I was worried that it might have been too sexy hahahahaha!!!!

I'll post my pics as soon as I get onto my computer (using the parents laptop)

Okay here's my pics of the shirt

The Front
I used Tulip soft fabric paint for most of the colours.
The red is Christmas Red Metalic
the black is Night Sky Pearl
the skin tone was champagne pearl
the silver was a mix of while fabric paint and dolk art silver paint (I forgot to pick up silver paint hahahaha)

The Back
A full shot of the corset detail.  I wasn't sure if the shirt was going to be too loose at the top so I chopped the small loops used for holding the shirt on a hanger and added some more ribbon there as a neck tie.

Detail of the grommets of DOOM!
This is a close up of the hand stitching I had to do around EVERY grommet.  The original fabric was super stretchy and the grommets just fell out.  I didn't have enough time to get new grommets so I reinserted the original ones and sewed around them to reinforce them.  I used a red topstitching thread, and it took me about 5-6 hours to do all of them (about a half hour for each grommet

That is really an awesome shirt! You did a great job!

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Wheeeeeeee! I got my parcel from GH today!

My mom found it outside our postbox (it couldn't fit into the slot, lol) when we were on our way out for dinner, and I sorta squealed, tore up the envelope (that's one tough envelope!) and changed in the car. Tongue It was a dark night though, highly doubt anyone saw me. Tongue

First, tore the envelope.

Then, I read the letter. Cheesy

Then I changed (no photo on that. HAHAHHA) and when I went home, started taking pictures!

The back:

And all that fab-ness (or Chun-ness, as we say here in Malaysia), was from GH's FIRST TIME air brushing! Weeee!!!

Great job, and I love it to bits! Came at a great time too (I just finished reading the latest book from a series I've been following for years, and there was a part where a live dragon battled with the spirit of a dragon. When I saw the shirt, I thought of that scene immediately, coz it was exactly how I imagined the scene to be!)

Received my shirt from serenthia last week and it's pretty damn cool.

close-up of the side ruching

each sleeve has sequins and one of these cool leaves on them

quote on the back. "the time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men." --Leonardo da Vinci

and the beautiful note pad she sent along with the shirt

I love my new shirt! Thank you so much serenthia!
Coincidentally, for the last decorated shirt swap I was in, the shirt I received also had a peacock and sequins.  lol.
