I am too old to be steampunk but the aesthetic appeals to me and these pieces appeal in particular.  I am not sure I can even pick a favorite, though feathers .... hmmm, yeah that would be it. And yes, this does rock.

The first butterfly is my favorite.  Are the butterflies stone pendants, or?

Hey thanks guys for the nice comments! Grin Grin Grin Grin

The butterflies are actually wood.  I used alcohol ink, paint, and resin to make them shiny and give them color.  I tried to go for a metal looking finish on them.

The round one is a combo of different things.  The hoop used to be some other doodad, and the rhinestone is from a vintage earring.

Yes!!  I got my hands on some grungeboard tonight!! Whoo-hoo!!  Paper jewelry anyone?  I just happened upon it in Michaels.  Although, the one near me doesn't seem to have all of the metal items he has out yet or they may be out, I dunno.  But the thought did cross my mind :  )  I used the packaging cause I didn't think anyone wanted to see my paint splattered, glued, messy messy desktop, LOL!

I'm glad you are liking them!

I love the bronze and copper tones of everything. I also really like the cobbled together look, like you took the pieces randomly out of found items. Its really neat and well put together.

Thanks for all the nice comments!

I love recycling items!  I find that old used items have more character and they tell a story that something that is brand new doesn't : )

I don't throw much stuff away, LOL!!

These are beautiful! It's awesome that you recycle so much stuff into pendants.
