As part of the One Tiny Thing round 21 there was a discussion of combining themes.  Along the way someone said they didn't know how you could combine ninjas and eggplants. Of course an eggplant ninja.  So I made him and his ninja vegetable gang.

A special shout out to the OTT21 crafters.

They can be very scary sneaking up on you on a hot summer night in a vegetable garden.

I want to make another vegetable for the gang but I'm trying to steer clear of the tomato.  Its sorta been done with Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, not to mention that a tomato isn't really a vegetable at all.  So I caved on the tomato, though I didn't really come up with that pattern myself.  I modified LadyLinoleum's psychotic tomato pattern.

**Shout out to LadyLinoleum's patterns!  Love her mind.**

I'm thinking of writing up the patterns minus the tomato, what do you think?

NINJTABLES!  I love them.

For some reason these remind me of the Snacktime CD by the Barenaked Ladies.  (There's songs about ninjas and vegetables on the CD... but even they didn't think of combining them!)  Great job!

Thanks for the great comments guys!  I'll probably write up the patterns soon.

I caved to the Ninja Tomato when I finish him I'll add a photo.  I like the idea of pirate fruit....hmmm...

These are fantastic! I love the broccoli the most. And, I'm glad you caved on the tomato, since most folks think a tomato is a vegetable anyway Wink

That's adorable! And it's appropriate, because the Japanese word for "carrot" is "ninjin," pronounced "neen-jean." I always used to picture a carrot ninja wearing jeans to remember the word.

A.  I think these are FANTASTIC!
B. What about celery... its definetly a veg and there was that young adult book... the celery stalks at midnight! If you don't like celery there is cauliflower or a beet! Beets, I admit might be a little too close in looks to a tomato, but they are nutricious and delicious. Beans? String... Lima... Pinto... Kidney?
C. Will there be any Samuri Fruit for the Veggie Ninja's to fight? Perhaps a Watermelon Shogun, rhubarb (technically a vegetable) could go Ronin!

Okay I'm crazy I admit it!

These are fun!

I'm not sure if it's really a vegetable, or how hard it would be to make, but my vote would be for an artichoke.
