I made these for my family and our upcoming trip to hawaii... just a fun way to be able to identify your luggage among the 8 billion other bags on the carousel. I saw something like this for sale in a luggage store and thought it would be easy to whip up.

AND they are reversible! so that's fun... Smiley

Awesome! I'm always on the look out for nifty travel tags, but I never thought too hard about making cloth ones. (I just happen to have that roll of black/neon fabric you used, too ...)

I second funtobewith's request.  These would be great, inexpensive gifts for my cousins who galavant from place to place.
More details, pretty please?  They look awesome!  I currently just have a ribbon bow on mine but it's gotten crushed and mangled.

I saw these and loved them! I made a few for christmas presents. But mine didn't turn out as good as yours Sad Do you have a template you used that you could share with me?? And also, Is there a spot to slip in identifying information on yours? I tried to do that but my machine wouldn't sew over the clear plastic. It just kept getting stuck. Did you have this problem? Or does anyone know any tips for this? Thanks!

I got a teflon foot and it sewed OK once I got it started to glide over the plastic Smiley
