I made this wall hanging to use up some fabric 'scraps" I had accumulated from another project. It was made by fusing the individual pieces to the background fabric and then going around the edges with a small zigzag stitch. The image of the parrot is not my own. It was borrowed from here.

Nice job!  I haven't tried applique yet but it looks like fun.  My quilt guild is having a challenge and I would like to do a parrot on the beach (My hubby loves Jimmy Buffett).
