This turned out really awesome. What a unique take on the felt food trend.

You know, I didn't realized until now that I've actually done felt food before...I guess I just have this thing for fannish-inspired foods!

I would love to learn how you made the Leaf!

The designs on the upper side of the leaf are gold fabric paint (I freehanded the veins), and then I brushed on metallic brown acrylic paint to give it extra dimension. Then I picked out several of the veins in thread, stitching between the dots of paint so that the thread mostly showed on the underside of the leaf. It was a lot of fun to do.
