hehe, I had a duplicate of that green one, and I use it on my craft table too!  It's nice and shallow so it's easy to grab what you need  Smiley

ps- I had a hard time parting with that apple crate, lol.  I found it at the thrift store over the weekend and I really loved it's old look  Smiley  Hope you do too

Haha! I LOVE it! The kids tried to steal it and put it in the play kitchen (and fill it with aplles) and I was like UMMMM NO! lol It's now hidden (til they forget about it) up high!

I'm quite excited, my first ever OWS partner got her yarn. I hope she likes it! I'm rather proud of it, but forgot to take photos :-(

Yay I did receive my yarny goodness from Persephone Hazard the other day.  I am sooo excited about it, I've never had fancy handspun (or any handspun) before.  After talking with Persephone, we are both thinking I'll have enough to make the Urchin hat from Knitty a few years back.  So once I finish longies for my munchkin and apples for the play food swap, I'll be able to get started on that!

She also sent me a beautiful pair of earrings that match the yarn so well!  Here's a closeup:

Along with these crafty goodies I also received some tea (yummy!) and chocolate chili candies - sweet and spicy at the same time.  Thank you SO MUCH, Persephone!  You're a great swapper!

*panics about the yarn* I really hope it doesn't split or tangle in the skein or anything. I'm quite proud of it, though :-) One of the colours in it - the caramely one - is pure silk, which I'd never spun with before, and it's GORGEOUS to work with. I know of want to spin nothing but silk ever now, lol! Sadly that gets expensive...

I received a wonderful package from Velvet Rose last week.  Im sorry about being late posting photos but ive had quite a bit on my plate this past week  Shocked

She sent me some scrapbooking supplies.  Papers, trims and such rub ons and a some cute buttons.  I hope everything is there as the nosey customs people ripped open the package and didn't even have the common courtesy to tape or staple it back up after checking (she said that she stapled it but there were no staples to be seen on the package meaning they ripped them off)!!

The pic is sideways as I forgot to turn it after uploading it opps lol

Thank you so much for claiming me and sending me these!!
