Got my first ever swap package in the mail today!  I got a knitted reuseable shopping bag from yellowblanket. I absolutely love the color!

Thank you so much yellowblanket!

This photo shows the color best.

This is the bottom....looks like a cute little starfish, doesn't it?

I received a fun package from ehinders today! Check it out:

Neat painted tree art:

And a pair of tentacled pillowcases:

Maybe my cats will be less inclined to steal my pillow if they are attacked by tentacles, haha.  Smiley

Thanks for all the crafty goodness, ehinders!

I received two great packages this week!  First, from sunspotted, our esteemed organizer and all around swap-addicted Canadian:

An enormous pile of upholstery fabric samples!  These are large enough to make box bags and fabric buckets from!  I tried to take color family pics, but the light in here sucks.  There are some great neutrals on the left and some rich tapestry type fabrics on the right.  I love adding this resource to my stash!

sunspotted also sent me some wonderful extras!

(sorry for the washout here)!  I got WILD RICE, maple leaf cookies that are absolutely YUM, wool yarns (my fave - Patons), a postcard that is quintessential Canada and some licorice allsorts (spelled ALL GONE) and Lipton Red Rose tea (at work).  Thanks, sunspotted.  You are an OWS champ; I love swapping with you!

My second package came from dip_n_dot.  She wrote a great note and told me she thought her package was on the light side, but it was a perfect cap to my rather long and depressing Wednesday.

She sent tawashi's in my favorite colors, a great dishcloth and a bird pendant straight from my wists.  The tawashi's and dishcloth are the kinds of items that are not only beautiful, but useful, a combo I really love.  I have not decided if I will enjoy the bird as a pendant or let it inspire a new creation!  Thank you, dip_n_dot.  You made my Wednesday!

I recieved from ptarmic wumpus.  She sent clothing that she sewed for my daughter.
The model was a little grumpy and not cooperating at all and Photobucket decided that it didn't want to cooperate either so I only have 2 of the 3 things I recieved.

With her head cut off, here is my little Gibs in one of the pretty dresses that ptarmic wumpus made for her.  I love the owl applique!!

I think this is my favorite.  I love the orange print!

Thanks so much ptarmic wumpus!!

Haha! Your're welcome! I'm glad you like everything. The pillowcases were handdrawn with fabric marker. I tried bleaching black ones with a freezer paper stencil, but it soooo did not turn out right! Sent you these ones instead! Wink

So much cool stuff! I especially like the dresses, ptarmic. Adorable!

I have been a bad, bad swapper and have been extremely delinquent in posting photos.

I got these wonderful goodies from bsonlytoots last week. I've had this t-shirt request on my wishlist forever - and now I have one! How neat-o mosquito is that?!? Grin  And the amigurumi hippo is so cute! Thank you so much, bsonlytoots!

And I got this yesterday from cuppiecakes83. A beautiful cowl she made based off of one on my wists. It's got a cool button closure and I like that it's in neutral tones - it will match so much in my wardrobe. Thank you, cuppiecakes83, it's beautiful!!

And I received these nice napkins from frosty772. They each have different fabric sides and they match my walls perfectly! Thank you very much, frosty772, these will definitely get a lot of use.

And, last, but certainly not least, I received this amazing package from A2K today! First up is this amazing pair of knit socks. These suckers rock, Tonya! What the heck kind of yarn did you use? They are so, so soft. I've got them on right now and they're not coming off anytime soon.

And then, an amazingly beautiful embroidered brooch just like the one on my wists! Thank you so much for this, A2K, it's gorgeous.

And, this cool little necklace. I love how delicate it is. And I'm totally stealing this idea to make one for my mom. Wink  A2K, I had a very hard time getting a good photo of this. Please post one if you have it!

Thank you to everyone who sent me goodies! I really apologize for the delay in getting photos posted for some of you!
