I received my package from ehinders yesterday. She claimed me for a fitted tee and some sewing supplies and sent a box full of fun, neat items.

Here's everything:

The shirt of course (in a beautiful dark teal blue color that's totally me), two large pieces of fabric, a little zipper bag made from the cutest whale fabric, four spools of thread, a ceramic picnic basket pin cushion and a travel sewing kit. (It's packed full of thread, needles, little scissors - the whole works!)

The shirt action shot

(It's hard to tell in the pic, but the design is actually like a metallic copper. It's dark copper but it has a neat shimmer to it up close.)

And close-ups on the smaller items

Thank you, ehinders! Grin

jojo_modjo sent me the sweetest little sock monkey ever! Look how cute she is with her fuzzy pink hair!

I'm so in love with her, and she's dressed in my favorite colors Brown and Pink!

She also sent some gorgeous buttons...

I'm obsessed with buttons!  Cheesy

And she made Mario pins for my son. He was so happy he made me pin them all on him at once!

Thank you so much for sending such a great package!

I also received a great supply box from Murbeck. The box she sent was stuffed full of goodies!

First, a ton of papers, stickers and other ephermera...

Next some pretty fabric for me to start my own stash...

And a bunch of little odds and ends and freezer paper and some cute little bottles that I already have plans for...

Thank you so much Murbeck, I already have plans for half the stuff you sent!  Cheesy

ThreadorYarn asked if I could photograph the items I sent her as her camera didn't work very well for close up photos.

So here goes:  I claimed ThreadorYarn for stained glass stitch markers, fabric covered tacks and two small-ish totes.  And added a couple extras, of course!!   Wink This was my first swap and she said that she liked everything.  I'm so thrilled that she did.  I was a little nervous sending off my first package.

I was told by sunspotted that swapping could get addicting.  Boy O boy....truer words were never spoken.  When do we get to sign up for the next go around?  Whee!!  Cheesy

Everything that was packed in the box.

Close up of the stained glass stitch markers.

What you see behind the markers is a bag of MN grown Wild Rice.  Yum.  I also sent two recipes for her to use.  MN Wild Rice Soup...lots of cheese and cream...mmmm..yummy.

it's a wonderful package! I brought the (shoebox-size) box inside, opened it up and just started pulling things out - more and more and... Smiley She even included pieces of the batik(?) fabric matching the totes. And I'm tempted to take one of the glass pieces and put it on a necklace.

I would say without a doubt that your first swap package is a success!  Grin   Grin

PFD: I'm so glad you liked everything. The tshirt looks like it fits good. *phew!* I always get nervous about clothes for some reason.

That sock monkey is adorable!!! I love the stars on her.
