I have that same apron pattern, claire!  Try the half apron before the full one - I never could get that one to fit correctly, and I fought way too much with the bias tape.  hee hee!

haha thanks nicole, i'll have to keep that in mind! bias tape and i are currently mortal enemies so i try to avoid it as much as possible Wink

claire313 sent me a really cool purse made mostly of recycled shirts, it even has a kitty patch & it's nice and roomy. It is already in use
Plus she sent me a hair flower for my collection. Thanks so much, you made make sick-week better!

I'm so glad you liked everything, kendy! i made a matching hair clip for myself hehe Cheesy

Bias tape helper: I used to hate it to cause i could never get it on right ... now when i use it i open it up and sew the back part on first then i sew the top part down next ... you'll see 2 lines of stitching on the wrong side but only one on the right side! hehe

Glad you like everything, Claire! Who knew the paper Krampus would be such a big hit? It's from one of my favorite fun artists, Christopher Bonnette. You can visit his site periodically for new paper doll downloads and even tutorials, since they can be a little tricky to put together! Currently you can get an Easter Bunny! http://macula.tv/main.htm

I received my sewing machine cover from the wonderful, talented, and super speedy claire313!  She is really FAST - man, I haven't even started on my claims yet!  I love the fabric and it's already in use.  Yes, I did clean my crafting area to take this picture!   Grin  It is hardly ever this clean!

She also sent me a cute little tea wallet and some yummy teas that I can't wait to try!

Thanks, claire!!

I just realized I hadn't bookmarked the round 45 gallery yet. Nice stuff so far! I might just have to put a sewing machine cover on my list next time too.  Wink

I received some really awesome owl items from AsphaltQueen yesterday but I didn't get a chance to post pics before I had to go into work. (I'm there now.) I don't get off until 8pm, so I'll try to post pics late tonight. Wait to you see the great goodies she made though! Grin

I also received from AsphaltQueen who claimed me for owl goodies! Unfortunately, it rained ALL DAY today. (Which is crazy uncommon. Florida isn't called "The Sunshine State" for nothing. Normally, even if it rains, the sun comes out for at least part of the day.) So the lighting was just awful and I couldn't get my camera to behave. The pieces are way cooler in real life, so sorry for the lack of photo quality. It doesn't reflect on AQ's skill at all.

She sent me an owl ring, an owl pendant with clockwork parts, an owl button and some owl fabric. It's all fabulous.

I AM a "night owl" too so that made me smile.

The fabric is so cute. I'll be hording this until I feel confident enough in my sewing abilities to ensure I don't waste it. It's just too adorable.

Thank you so much, AsphaltQueen for your very cool and unique items. Grin
