Hello all! I've really enjoyed looking through all your posts, I recently joined and figured I would introduce myself with a couple of posts with some photos of stuff that I've made. I'm Anne, I'm 21 and live in Philadelphia with my girlfriend. Anyway, here are a couple of bags I made from old t-shirts and incorporated some new fabrics. They're kind of simple but hopefully soon I will be posting some more complex bags. Voila!

Welcome to the site!  Love, love, love both bags - clownfish is great.  Is that from a t-shirt?

Check out my Sweet Tea Sour Pickles Etsy shop, now up and running!

Your bags look great!  I really like the fabric on the inside in the last picture.

They're both awesome!  I'd love to know where the clownfish fabric came from too.

I love the rainbowy colours. The clownfish fabric looks amazingly 3D. Beautiful stuff.

Thank you so much to everyone for all the kind words, you have made my day! Smiley Yep, the clownfish bag came from a t-shirt. I frequent the 50 cent bin at one of the thrift stores in the area. That swap looks awesome! When I've been around long enough to do one I will definitely participate. Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone! <3

They are both great, but the fish bag totally rocks and I'm not just saying that because I live in a house full of aquariums!  Okay, I am a bit partial, but seriously, those bags are freakin' sweet!

I found some of that clownfish fabric on eBay and they also have the t-shirts with the clownfish on them.  I just did a search on Clownfish on eBay and it came right up. I got a yard of the fabric so I can make myself a bag.

Thanks for the idea.  Yours is awesome.  I hope mine turns out at least as cute.
