I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first grandchild, Eden - she's due on April 25th - Grin   And I've already been busy making some things for her ... haven't had a baby girl in the family for quite some time and I love getting back into the pink and lace and other sweet girly stuff.  I've made quite a few baby blankets in my life, but never did I use a pattern or do anything more exciting then a ripple ...

So, this time I decided to actually buy a pattern book (Leisure Arts - Heirloom Afghans) and do something at least a little bit more special - and I love the way it turned out!  It wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming (it's crib sized).  It was well worth the effort though!

I've done something "wrong" in the border because it's more ruffled than the pattern book shows, but I think I like mine better -  Cheesy

Thanks for looking and Happy Crafting!!
